Robert "Bob" Irwin was born on June 8, 1939. He was the father to animal activist Steve Irwin. Bob Irwin is a former zoo keeper, animal conservationist, naturalist, and herpetologist. Irwin also appeared in number of documentaries. Bob Irwin founded the Bob Irwin Wildlife and Conservation Foundation Inc., which was shut down on June 30, 2018 when Irwin retired. Bob Irwin influenced his son Steve because he too was an animal activist.
