Robert "Bob" Irwin

Robert "Bob" Irwin was born on June 8, 1939. He was the father to animal activist Steve Irwin. Bob Irwin is a former zoo keeper, animal conservationist, naturalist, and herpetologist. Irwin also appeared in number of documentaries. Bob Irwin founded the Bob Irwin Wildlife and Conservation Foundation Inc., which was shut down on June 30, 2018 when Irwin retired. Bob Irwin influenced his son Steve because he too was an animal activist.

Lyn Irwin

Lyn Irwin was born on February 22, 1942. Irwin was a maternity nurse as well as a wildlife rehabilitator, meaning she took care of wild animals. She was an influencer to her son, Steve, because of how she cared for animals. Unfortuantely, Lyn Irwin passed away in a car accident on February 11, 2000. In honor of his mother's memory, Steve Irwin established the Lyn Irwin Memorial Fund, whose purpose is to help with the conservation of animals.

David Attenborough

David Attenborough was born on May 8, 1926. Attenborough is an English broadcaster, most commonly known for narrating nature documentaries. Some of the documentaries he's voiced include The Blue PLanet, Planet Earth, and Life. Attenborough helped influence Irwin because of Attenborough's passion for the conservation of nature.
